1. Eligibility

• Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction

We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to use the Service. If we learn that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate that account immediately.

By registering for an account, checking any "I agree" box, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Safety guidelines, which are incorporated by reference.

3. Your Account

3.1 Registration

When using Sync Us, you agree that you will not:

• Post or share sexually explicit, obscene, hateful, violent, or otherwise unlawful content
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation
• Solicit personal information from other users for fraudulent, exploitative, or predatory purposes
• Post spam, unsolicited advertising, chain messages, or malicious links
• Upload viruses, malware, or attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service's servers or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service without our permission
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Share content that infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights
• Promote or facilitate human trafficking, exploitation, or harm to minors

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action — including content removal, warnings, suspension, or account termination — against anyone who violates this section, at our sole discretion.

5. Chat Rooms and User Content

5.1 Public nature of chat rooms

Messages you post in public chat rooms can be seen by other users of the Service. Do not share sensitive personal information (financial details, home address, government ID numbers, etc.) in chat rooms or with people you don't know and trust.

5.2 Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting content on the Service, you grant Sync Us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.

5.3 Responsibility for content

You are solely responsible for the content you post and the consequences of sharing it. We do not endorse and are not responsible for user-generated content, and we do not routinely monitor private conversations.

5.4 Content removal

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to remove or restrict access to any content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Safety Guidelines

• Do not trust strangers with sensitive personal information, financial details, or intimate images.
• Be cautious about meeting anyone from the Service in person — if you choose to do so, meet in a public place and let someone else know your plans.
• Report abusive users, suspicious behavior, or content that concerns you using in-app reporting tools or by contacting [email protected].
• We may provide in-app warnings before you share images or personal information, but you remain responsible for your own choices.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, graphics, software, and other content we provide (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Sync Us or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The Service may display advertisements and use third-party analytics and advertising tools, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party advertisers or linked websites. Your interactions with third parties through the Service are solely between you and that third party.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We do not verify the identity, age, or intentions of users, and we are not responsible for the conduct — online or offline — of any user of the Service. Your use of the Service, including any interactions with other users, is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SYNC US AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sync Us and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, our Safety guidelines, or applicable law, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., Sections 7, 9, 10, 11) will continue to apply.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where required by law, provide additional notice. 15. Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Safety guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sync Us regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
